Rameshwaram
Rameshwaram is located in the sea region of “Gulf of Mannar Biosphere Reserves” and is relatively small in terms of area. Standing firmly in the middle of India and Sri Lanka with its clean sea breezes, less crowded temples & sacred ponds, this famous “Island City” has been the center of attraction for travelers across the world. One of the Char Dhams of India and an avid place for Hindu devotees, Rameshwaram is one place you must add to your travel bucket list.

Norway

Driving the Atlantic Ocean Road in Norway

This is the Atlanterhavsveien, or the Atlantic Ocean Road, a stretch of Road 64 in Norway between the towns of Molde and Kristiansund on Norway's west coast. It was built in the 1980s and opened to the public in 1989. During its first 10 years it was a toll road – but today it's part of the National Tourist Route and free to drive. Over and over and over.the tunes were blasting from my iPhone (because no radio station would come in). The windows were wound down (though I was bundled up against the chilly wind). And I was ready to drive one of the coolest roads in the world.Usually when you think “road trip,” you think of vast distances and open highways. Something like driving across the US, perhaps.

But one of the coolest road trips I've ever done only lasted for 8.3 kilometers.Driving the Atlantic Ocean Road (or Atlantic Highway, depending on who you ask) was the part of my Norway trip that I had been looking forward to the most. Because, sure, it's just over 5 miles long – but it's EPIC. I've seen photos of this road in all types of weather (including with waves crashing over even the highest bridges), but luckily the weather gods decided to gift me with patches of sun and some dramatic clouds for my adventure.(Sure, the adventurous part of me was kind of hoping for those crazy waves, but the rational part of me was thankful for good weather!)

Goa(India)
One of the most famous landmarks of Goa, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in Panjim was built by the Portuguese in 1541 as a chapel. A fine example of Baroque architecture combined with Indian sensibilities. The location of the church in Panaji, makes it even more beautiful and stunning as it is surrounded by the municipal gardens. It was built for the sailors who disembarked here, after a long sail from Lisbon, Portugal as it was the first port before going inland into older Goa.

Although the church spells grandeur from its façade, the interiors are fairly simple with optimal use of colour. During the Festival of Our Lady Of The Immaculate Conception, the church decks up in lights and decorations and looks even more beautiful! The festival is held on March 8 every year and is followed by a fair!

Aogashima island Japan
The island is located 358 km away to the south from Tokyo city center. It is still under the Tokyo city government administration but, with its around 160 villagers, is the smallest village in Japan. The island is one of the mysterious islands with beautiful nature. It is a volcanic island 3.5 km in length with a width of 2.5 km, formed by the remains of several calderas. This makes the island look like a massive Balanomorpha.

Tunnel Of Love in Ukraine

For those of us who are head over heals in love, here’s a new destination to consider. The Tunnel of Love, located in Ukraine, used to be just another train rail section, but eventually turned into one of the most romantic spots on Earth.

As trees were left to grow freely around the rails, the passing train was the only thing shaping its way through. Eventually, by crossing the Kleven village forest back and forth three times a day, the train shaped a closed tunnel according to it’s size

Andaman

Andaman

Unlike the Andamans, the Nicobar Islands are untouched and pristine. The forests are lush and the beaches are surreal beyond explanation. However, foreigners would require passes to enter the Islands and no visitor is allowed to enter the tribal belts unless for some special purposes like research. And even for that one will have to go through rigorous formalities.

The unique islands of Andaman showcase the pristine beaches and green forests of the region. The picturesque landscapes of the islands are poles apart from the image of Kala Pani that our ancestors had.
